Bringing Leadership to Life through Authentic Conversation

The Challenge

Pete Marsh and Alastair Kidd are leadership coach and facilitators who were looking to promote an event they were hosting for senior leaders. During our initial conversations, it was clear they had deep expertise but were struggling to articulate it in a way that was authentic to who they were. Traditional “promotion” felt too abstract and transactional. It didn’t reflect the conversational, exploratory mindset at the heart of their work.

Our Approach

We shifted the mission from simply promoting an event, to creating evergreen content that showcased their expertise authentically. We crafted a framework for a series of filmed conversations that mimic the depth, curiosity, and flow of coaching sessions.

Over multiple episodes they explore topics such as:

  • The potential pitfalls of conventional thinking
  • Why discomfort is such a good teacher
  • When to lean into uncertainty
  • Conversation as a catalyst for change

Each piece is standalone but contributes to a coherent narrative about how they work, how they think and what sets them apart.

The Outcome

Over the course of two sessions we captured a wealth of footage which we edited into a library of digestible, evergreen videos.

These are no longer simply “promotional pieces”, they’ve become windows into Pete and Alastair’s philosophy. A conversational invitation rather than a sales pitch.

In the video below, Alastair and Pete reflect on how the process helped them communicate their expertise in a way that reflects how they work and avoids any contrived “selling”.

Showcasing what we’re about happens in the presence of doing the work.
